It was not for lack of effort today that the Huskies
surrendered yet another game to their tournament nemesis from Cambridge, but
the puck was simply not in their corner this long weekend as even a decent attempt
this morning did not suffice to prolong their hopes to advance. Nonetheless, being one of only two teams advancing to the
semi-finals in this host tournament, the Huskies thrilled the home crowd with
their efforts, while silent rumblings in the stands and public recognition by
many in attendance indicate that Hamilton’s 9AAAs are a talented group full of
promise as the season continues to unfold.
