Huskies Nothing Short of Dominating
The 9AAAs attacked home ice today with
renewed focus as they hosted Chatham-Kent after a tightly exchanged game only two
weeks ago. Home team Huskies lit the
lamp early with two solid goals that began a tally of shots against an often defeated
Cyclone’s net-minder. Hamilton’s
tenacity absolutely dominated the game, denying any opportunity for their opposition
to gain control in the offensive zone, while capitalizing on shots of their
own. Perhaps it was their white disguise
today, or a slightly different format as they unexpectedly made the most of
their short-handed situations, but it was the Huskies who dictated today’s
chapter, and while an uneventful third on the scoreboard, they convincingly persevered
to deny the Cyclones any chance of blemishing an almost perfect game.
