A promising start and opening goal against the Chiefs suggested a competitive contest on deck, where intelligent plays were made and Husky heart was put into every check and battle along the boards. But what denied Hamilton of opportunities this time around was possibly a slight absence of solidarity and alertness between plays that may have resolved several opportune chances with a more favourable outcome.
It is never easy to write about a loss, let alone two, so the experience consequently inspires the following quote: “Coming together is only the beginning; keeping together is progress; but working together is success. There is NO limit to what can be accomplished when you work together as a team, when you don’t care who gets the credit, and when you play for what’s on the front of your jersey not for what’s on the back.” The 9AAAs look forward to another busy week of hockey and hard work, as they conclude their City Kidz gift-giving movement and get through the last week of school in anticipation of a family-oriented break and exciting holiday tournament play.
